Cancellation Policy

All privately insured and self pay clients will be charged a fee of $100.00 when an appointment is missed or cancelled without giving 24 hours advance notice. This means that if an appointment is scheduled for 3pm on a Monday, notice must be given by 3pm on Sunday. You can cancel your appointment by leaving a voicemail, emailing your therapist, or replying to the text reminder. Please note that email and text reminders are provided as a courtesy and you as the client are ultimately responsible for keeping track of and attending your scheduled appointments. Sessions in which you are 15 minutes or more late will automatically be assumed as a no show.

The only time your therapist will waive this fee is in the event of serious or contagious illness, power/internet loss (for telehealth appointments) or extreme weather.

Missed appointment fees must be paid prior to scheduling another appointment. This includes those who are on recurring appointments.

If you are on a recurring appointment schedule and you do not show for 2 appointments in a calendar year you will forfeit your recurring appointment time.

Therapy may be terminated when any client misses 2 or more consecutive appointments or if there are frequently missing appointments over the course of treatment.

Please note that if you miss 2 scheduled intake/first-time appointments for any reason Danielle Cannon, LCSW, PLLC will not be able to schedule a third intake appointment.
